Meditation is a practice where we learn to calm and silence our mind in order to achieve a state of deep peace and serenity.
Really meditation can be thought of as a form of Mindfulness where we learn to practice a state of raised consciousness, making healthy, long-term decisions about how we choose to conduct our lives. This includes being mindful of what we eat, what and how we speak, our relationships and generally how we conduct our lives. Through meditation we can learn to live consciously and mindfully. Helping us to work towards a life where our actions and reactions reflect love, peace and compassion. |
